Manchester this week launches their partnership for MIPIM 2016, inaugurating the city-region’s return to the world’s leading annual real estate convention.
Held at INNSIDE Manchester, the launch event will welcome senior members from Manchester’s property community to discuss plans for the city-regions presence at Cannes in March 2016.
Speakers will include Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive of Manchester City Council; Andrew Stokes, chief executive of Marketing Manchester, part of MCG; and David Joy, chief executive of LCR.
At the event Andrew Stokes will detail a new format for this year’s MIPIM, including an opportunity for partners to create an event of their choosing. Interested partners are invited to submit an event proposal, which if successful will form one of three to be held in the official Manchester at MIPIM programme.
The launch follows a monumental performance from the Manchester at MIPIM partnership at this year’s conference in March. Manchester’s 2015 delegation was the biggest demonstration to date of the city-region’s collective ambition at MIPIM, consisting of 76 organisations including 30 new partners.
MIPIM, the world’s leading property market, brings together the most influential players from all international property sectors offering unrivalled access to the greatest number of development projects and sources of capital worldwide.
