Coronavirus notice
We are continuing to monitor the potential impact that COVID-19, also known as coronavirus may have on MIPIM 2020. We are in daily contact with organisers Reed Midem who, in turn, are in communication with relevant professional bodies including the World Health Organisation, City of Cannes, Nice airport and the hotel network.
The event is still currently scheduled to take place as planned.
The health and wellbeing of delegates is the number one priority at MIPIM and in addition to new procedures put in place by Reed Midem we will be taking additional measures on the Manchester Pavilion including an increased cleaning schedule and easy access to automatic hand sanitisers.
Prior to travel to MIPIM please regularly check this page on the MIPIM website for updates. The Manchester at MIPIM team will be in touch immediately if anything changes, including over the weekend prior to MIPIM commencing. MIPIM Code of Conduct
We would like to take this opportunity to remind our partners that in attending MIPIM, you are accepting the responsibility as an ambassador of Manchester. All those present are therefore expected to treat all individuals with the utmost respect; onsite, offsite, and online. For more information please review the event Code of Conduct here.
Delegate registration
We’re pleased to say that the Manchester at MIPIM Partnership is now confirmed at 95 organisations and over 200 delegates will be joining us in Cannes. All registrations have now been processed and you can access the full Manchester at MIPIM delegate list here.
Please note that on Monday 2 March the delegate rate rises to £2,000 +VAT per additional delegate pass. If you have any additional delegates still to register, please ensure you submit them via the form here on the Manchester at MIPIM website by 12pm on Friday 28 February to avoid the increased rate.
Travel Package
For those of you taking advantage of the Manchester Flight, there are a small number of places still available on the Manchester at MIPIM Coach Transfer. The cost is £100pp + VAT and includes return coach transfer from Nice Airport to central Cannes. Please click here to access the form.
If you are already booked on to the travel package, you will receive a separate confirmation with further details soon.
The Manchester Café
Thank you to all partners that have pre-booked meeting space at MIPIM 2020. The Manchester Café is a fantastic meeting space; however, it is a busy area so please make sure that you book ahead where possible to reserve a space as turning up on the day may result in disappointment. The form to book space in The Manchester Café is available by logging into the partner area on the Manchester at MIPIM website here.
Manchester Dinner RSVP
Thanks to the comprehensive facilities of the venue, the Partnership will again be hosting the popular Manchester dinners at the Pavilion on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 March.
These dinners, which are kindly sponsored by Manchester International Festival and The Factory and Shoosmiths and DeTrafford respectively, will allow guests the opportunity to reflect on the events held earlier that day, to network, and to share thoughts and ideas. Invitations have been issued and there is now a wait list so please let us know if you are unable to attend.
Manchester Drinks Reception RSVP
If you arrive in Cannes on Monday 9 March, please join us at our opening drinks reception which will be held on the Manchester Pavilion 18:00-20:00. As the conference does not officially open until Tuesday 10 March it is essential to RSVP for the drinks reception here and we encourage you to invite colleagues to join us.
Promoting the Manchester events programme
As you know, the success of Manchester at MIPIM is wholly dependent on the strength and diversity of the Partnership, and one way that you can help generate more interest is to promote your involvement with the Manchester at MIPIM Partnership within peer groups.
With the programme now launched, we would like to encourage all Manchester delegates to signal their attendance as part of the Partnership and let others know which events you are most looking forward to attending or being part of.
