As you can imagine with an event on this scale, there are a lot of moving parts to consider in terms of organisation, so this is the first of several updates that we’ll be sending to ensure that your profile at MIPIM and your delegate logistics are processed smoothly.

Company Information form
The Company Information form is essential to complete your organisation’s profile for Manchester at MIPIM 2020. Please complete this form as a matter of priority to ensure we communicate important information to you and your organisation over the coming months. Your assigned contacts will receive regular updates like this one to keep your organisation informed of new information.

Event proposal submission form
If you attended our launch event on Wednesday 25 September you will know that our theme for Manchester at MIPIM 2020 is Everything is Connected, which aims to celebrate that very Mancunian way of doing things.
Our partners are essential for shaping a world-class events programme linked to the theme, so we strongly encourage you to consider submitting an event proposal.
This is your chance to make a mark on the Manchester Programme and showcase your company, project, or passion. Whether it be zero-carbon, health, tech, digital, we believe the possibilities are infinite for topics to explore.

Delegate pass information
Following on from the successful ‘Next Generation of Thought Leaders’ panel at MIPIM 2019, we’re excited to announce the launch of a new initiative for 2020 which will give you the chance to involve the new generation from the property world - those bright minds and rising stars who will need to be a part of MIPIM in the future, but who perhaps need a bit of steering to get them to the point where they can represent your company autonomously.
The initiative will allow you to bring a young first-time delegate over to MIPIM through a discounted delegate rate that can be accessed when signing up to one of our packages. Terms and conditions apply – for example qualifying delegates must be 35 years old or under and attending MIPIM for the first time – so pleaseget in touch with the team to discuss this further. The rate will be priced at £610 +VAT.
Information will be released regarding standard delegate registrations in a future update. For your information, our additional delegate pass rate remains at £1,400 +VAT.

Accommodation request form
Annually, 24,000 delegates attend MIPIM, with only 3,000 hotel rooms available in central Cannes. Therefore, we encourage you to submit your accommodation request as soon as possible to guarantee your room/s.

Travel Package
Taxis from Nice Airport to central Cannes can be costly, estimated between €80 – €100 per car for a single journey.
For those of you taking advantage of the Manchester Flight, you can now book the Manchester at MIPIM Coach Transfer for £100pp + VAT which includes return coach transfer from Nice Airport to central Cannes, as well as access to the Escape Lounge on your outbound flight from Manchester Airport.

Flights to MIPIM 2020
The Manchester flight will be operating as usual with Jet2 and a special o`ffer of £426 return which is now available but limited to the first 40 flights booked.

This year, an additional flight is being operated by EasyJet from Manchester.

Private event space
In 2020 The Manchester Pavilion will once again feature a private event space available for hire for breakfasts, brunches, lunches, presentations and drinks receptions. The private space can accommodate approximately 50 guests for a seated lunch.
Being a large space, the Manchester Pavilion has a number of different areas that can be used for private events. We are always looking at new ways to utilise the space and continue to drive traffic. If you have any ideas for events outside of the list above, please get in touch.

Guest blogs and films
This year we will once again be undertaking an extensive marketing campaign in the run-up to, and during MIPIM. Our digital campaign in 2019 generated 1.7 million impressions on Twitter and delivered over 47,500 page views to the Manchester at MIPIM website.
As part of this activity we are looking to undertake up to eight quality interviews with partners, looking at your business, why you chose to become partners of the Manchester at MIPIM delegation, and looking generally at the property industry. We are particularly keen to speak to any partners who decide to take up the ‘Next Generation Leaders’ Delegate Pass’ and to speak to any young people who will be attending MIPIM for the first time.
We will also be accepting guest blogs again from all partners. This is an opportunity to share knowledge and expertise with other partners and those following the Manchester at MIPIM 2020 journey. Blog posts can be about anything you feel is important within the property industry that is relevant for a MIPIM audience and we would especially encourage blogs that relate to the theme, showcasing how you have worked in collaboration with other industries. A good blog will include insightful commentary on a specialist issue and the best are often picked up and reused by media, which can be an additional profile opportunity for you or your company.
